Our Mission
To help & assist the Greenfield Township Fire
Department
and our community
Who Are We?
We are people who work with and help Greenfield
Township Fire Department, as well as every firefighter, EMT &
paramedic associated with our department. If you are a volunteer,
part time or full time member of GTFD you are a member of the
Association
Civilians are also welcome to join!!
What do We Do?
We host open houses, turkey supper
and other events for the community. As well we’ve purchased
equipment for the trucks & trailer, arranged and carried out
fundraisers for fire equipment, food for training, straw for
training fires, helped with money and labor for levy issues & sent
firefighters to FDIC to name a few things.
How can I find out what the Association is doing?
We meet the 2nd Monday of every month
in the meeting room of GTFD at 7pm. Just show up!
What if I don’t like a decision the Association
made
or
I want the Association to do something else?
Then show up at the meetings and voice your
opinion. Help with our activities to show us a better way. Offer a
solution, objective opinion, a new way to look at something or bring
up an issue. We know we’re not perfect or think of everything. If
there’s a better way to do it, we want to know.
